NYCN, NDLEA Unite to Launch "Youth Against Illicit Drugs (Y-AID)" Campaign

NYCN-NDLEA PARTNERS TO LAUNCH YOUTHS-AGAINST ILLICIT DRUGS (Y-AIDs) CAMPAIGN The leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), under the direction of His Youthfulness Amb Babangida Isah onomisi held a strategic engagement with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Thursday 30th, oct 2025 at the NDLEA Headquarters, Abuja. The meeting, convened by Mr. Otumba Lanre Iphinmisho MFR, Ambassador of the War Against Drug Abuse (WADA), provided a platform for both institutions to explore areas of collaboration in strengthening youth participation in the national campaign against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. LAGOS STATE NYCN HOLDS MAIDEN EXCHANGE RETREAT FOR LOCAL BRANCH COORDINATORS IN OGUN STATE

On Friday, 24th October 2025, I had the honour of welcoming the NYCN Lagos State Chairman, Engr. Ibrahim Olalekan Adigun, the National Deputy President NYCN, Comr. Asoro, and other youth leaders from Lagos State to the Gateway State for the Coordinators Exchange Retreat I commended the Lagos State Chairman for his insightful and impactful leadership. I also encouraged the coordinators to use the privilege we are blessed with in the Council to build strong and meaningful relationships, as these connections could shape our future. I personally shared how I secured employment through a comrade I met in the Council a testament to the value of our network. I urged the participants to continue the positive culture of healthy competition and impactful activities, which they are known for. I wished them a happy and fulfilling stay in the Gateway State.
