NATIONAL INTERNAL AUDITOR COMMENDS COUNCIL’S PROGRESS IN FIRST 10 DAYS OF NEW ADMINISTRATION

Abuja – The Office of the National Internal Auditor (NIA) of the National Youth Council of Nigeria has commenced a review of the Council’s internal activities following the swearing-in of the new National Executive Council (NEC) 10 days ago.

The audit, aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with the Council’s constitutional mandates, has so far noted with satisfaction the proactive steps taken by the new leadership under the President, SENIOR COMRADE COMRADE BABANGIDA ONIMISI ISAH (BOI).

In his capacity as the Chief Servant of Nigerian Youths, the President has undertaken an extensive outreach program, featuring appearances on multiple radio and television stations, participation in youth empowerment activities, and consistent public engagement. True to his acceptance speech, his administration has maintained a non-confrontational approach, prioritizing dialogue and collaboration in addressing issues affecting the Council and the youth of Nigeria.

Furthermore, the President has reaffirmed his commitment to championing gender-friendly initiatives, ensuring equitable representation and participation across all programs and policies of the Council.

Through the Office of the National Public Relations Officer (PRO), the Council’s image has been positively projected, bolstered by the recent launch of the Weekly Activities Youth Bulletin. This publication highlights the NEC’s ongoing programs, achievements, and upcoming engagements, fostering greater awareness and involvement among Nigerian youth.

The National Internal Auditor acknowledges these early achievements and encourages the NEC to sustain this momentum. The auditing process will continue to monitor the Council’s operations to ensure efficiency, integrity, and service delivery in line with its mission.

The new National Executive Council expresses pride in the leadership of President Senior Comrade Babangida Onimisi Isah (BOI) and remains dedicated to uniting and advancing the interests of Nigerian youths nationwide.

The National Youth Council of Nigeria remains the umbrella body representing the interests of Nigerian youth. It works to promote youth development, leadership, and active participation in national growth and governance.

BUILD THE YOUTH!
BUILD THE NATION!
