In commemoration of the 2026 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, I had the honour of participating as a Special Guest at the programme organized by the Office of the Supervisor for Youth and Sports, Agbado Okeodo LCDA, Alimosho Local Government, on 26th June 2026. The event, themed "The Evidence is Clear: Invest in Prevention," commenced with an awareness walk aimed at educating members of the public on the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of collective action in building a drug-free society. As part of the lecture session, I addressed participants on the devastating consequences of drug abuse, emphasizing its negative impact on the health, security, education, and future of young people. I urged youths to shun substance abuse, make responsible choices, and become ambassadors of positive change within their communities.
