Education is Light: Hon. Balogun Daniel Delivers New Furniture to Community Primary School, Okeosa-Ilase

OKEOSA-ILASE - In a resounding commitment to improving the standard of learning and prioritizing grassroots education, the Councillor representing the community (Ihunbo/Ilase Ward), Hon. Balogun Daniel, has facilitated the delivery of brand-new wooden desks and benches to the pupils of Community Primary School, Okeosa-Ilase.
The timely donation aims to provide a more comfortable and conducive learning environment for the children, moving them away from inadequate seating arrangements to a structured classroom setting.
The Presentation Ceremony
The educational materials were formally delivered and presented to the school by a three-man delegation sent by the Councillor, consisting of: Comr. Kojo Adedayo, Mr. Mr Azeez tewogbola, and Mr. Idowu Oriyomi Ezekeiel.
Upon receiving the delegation, the school management, teachers, and pupils couldn't hide their excitement. The new wooden furniture sets were set up immediately within the school's classrooms, visibly transforming the learning space.
Members of the delegation took time to interact with the teaching staff and address the pupils, emphasizing the importance of staying focused on their studies.
Pure Joy and Gratitude
The highlight of the day was the overwhelming joy of the students. Gathered around their new desks, the children erupted into cheerful smiles and songs of appreciation, thanking Hon. Balogun Daniel for remembering their school and investing in their future.
Community Primary School, Okeosa-Ilase, which operates under the guiding motto "Education is Light" (established October 2024), has by this gesture received a major boost toward fulfilling its academic mission.
Speaking on behalf of the community and the school, local leaders praised the Councillor’s swift intervention, noting that comfortable seating is fundamental to a child's concentration and academic success. They urged other stakeholders to emulate this noble gesture to further lift the standard of local infrastructure.
