Dangote 2025 End-of-Year Programme: A Landmark in Community Development and Skill Acquisition

NYCN NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT ATTENDED DANGOTE 2025 END OF THE YEAR PROGRAMME

The Dangote End of the Year Programme 2025 was successfully held with wide participation from stakeholders, government officials, traditional rulers, and community members across the host communities.

The programme featured the graduation of over twenty (20) youths drawn from the host communities who successfully completed a 3-months intensive skills acquisition training. As part of the empowerment initiative, beneficiaries were presented with stater packs to support their economic advancement. The programme also included the award of scholarships to selected students from the host communities, reaffirming Dangote’s commitment to education and human capital development.

Forty (40) widows were also presented with grain milling achieve underscoring Dangote Group's commitment to inclusivity and care for the vulnerable in the society.

The event recorded a strong presence of government officials from across Ogun State, underscoring the importance of youth empowerment and community development. Dignitaries in attendance included the Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elemide; a Member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Yewa North constituency 1, Hon. Adeyanju Adegoke Awoso; the Honourable Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives, Hon. (Alh.) Ademola Balogun; the Executive Chairman, Yewa North Local Government; the Vice Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government; The Deputy State Chairman, NYCN, Ogun State Comr. Kafilat Adejoke Adeoye The State Treasurer, Comr. Folarin Odunayo, The State Organizing Secretary (Ogun West), Comr. Samuel Adéyemí Kòjékú alongside other notable personalities.

The programme also enjoyed the distinguished presence of Royal Fathers, including the Aboro of Ibese, the Olu of Imasayi, the Olu of Aga, the Aboro of Ibooro, and several other respected traditional rulers, whose attendance added cultural significance and royal endorsement to the occasion.

Speaking on the impact of the initiative, the National Vice President, Southwest Zone, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comr. Kehinde Damilola Olorunjubelo, commended the Dangote Group for its sustained investment in youth empowerment, skills development, and educational support within host communities. He described the programme as a model for sustainable community engagement and urged other corporate organizations to emulate such impactful interventions.

The Dangote 2025 Community Day Celebration was widely applauded as a meaningful platform that promotes self-reliance, economic inclusion, and long-term development among youths, traders, and students across the region.
